About us
Food & Drink
All trains have a licensed cafe carriage providing snacks and light meals. The food on our café menus has been carefully selected to reflect both the old and new flavors of New Zealand. Cold, hot, sweet, savory, gluten–free, or vegetarian there’s something fresh and tasty for everyone.
You’ll also find a top selection of New Zealand wine, beers and other beverages to enjoy with your meal. In order to comply with NZ Liquor laws please do not bring your own alcohol on-board our trains.
Please note that due to the remoteness of some journey stages and unavailability of eftpos, this is a 'cash-only' service.
